SaaS Competitor Positioning with Website, LinkedIn and Reddit Research
Use Sorit to compare SaaS pricing pages, product claims, company updates and user feedback. Build a dated competitor matrix and evidence-backed positioning options.
For: Independent developers, small product teams and founders launching their own products
SEND THIS TO YOUR AGENT
Use Sorit to compare the three customer-support SaaS products I provide: read their public product and pricing pages, review LinkedIn company updates and Reddit user discussions, then build a dated feature and pricing matrix, identify possible positioning gaps and draft homepage messaging options with supporting sources.

Compare products serving the same job
Start with three named customer-support products and a target customer, such as a small B2B support team. A broad enterprise suite and a shared inbox may solve different problems. Explain those differences before comparing prices.
Capture what each company actually says
Use public product and pricing pages for plan details. Record currency, billing period, seat or usage units, add-ons and the retrieval date. Keep “contact sales” as an unknown price. Read official company updates on LinkedIn for recent changes, and follow claims back to an official page where possible.
Add user discussions from Reddit as a separate perspective. Preserve the date, product version when stated and context; a complaint may concern an older plan or a different customer segment.
Turn comparisons into positioning choices
Ask the agent to distinguish confirmed differences, vendor claims and unanswered questions. Compare what the target customer needs with what your own product can demonstrate. Do not label a competitor as missing a capability solely because a scraped page did not mention it.
Deliver messaging and a baseline
Produce a comparison table, two or three positioning options and a homepage headline for each. Link every factual claim to a source and mark what needs a product trial. Keep the dated observations for later review; recurring checks and alerts require your own scheduler and notification channel.
