Use Sorit to prepare a US campaign brief for a language-learning app: compare learner frustrations on Reddit with public Meta, Google and TikTok ads from named competitors, identify overused promises and unmet questions, then propose three messaging angles with supporting evidence and a test plan.
Adapt the topic, market or brand
Define the decision behind the brief
A language-learning app may need a reason for busy adults to start again. Specify the market, audience, campaign objective and named competitors. The task is to form testable messages, not to declare which competitor has the best-performing ad.
Put audience language beside advertising
Search Reddit for learning setbacks, abandoned habits and practical goals. Collect recent, relevant discussions rather than treating a single complaint as a market trend. Inspect competitors’ public ads and record the hook, promise, proof, format and call to action. Keep the market and collection date with each example.
Turn gaps into creative hypotheses
Compare what learners struggle with against what ads promise. Separate crowded claims from questions that the sampled ads do not answer. An absence in your sample is a research lead, not proof that no competitor addresses it.
For each proposed angle, identify the evidence the client would need to supply: a product demonstration, an approved customer story or a measurable feature benefit. Do not turn an unverified claim into finished copy.
Deliver a brief and a way to learn
Ask for three messaging directions with a target situation, supporting sources, creative outline and test variable. The client’s own campaign data will determine outcomes. Save the research as a dated baseline for the next planning round.
